SHERI SUPER’s big beautiful tax bill
The “party of fiscal responsibility” kicked that title out the window when they elected Sheri Super in the May 2026 County Commission Republican Primary.
Sheri has a history of tax liens, credit card collections, and civil lawsuits.
See for yourself.
In 2015, Sheri Super was found to owe the IRS over $24,000 stemming from unpaid taxes. She owed $9,372.71 from 2010 and another $15,074.23 from 2011.
That same year, a Knox County General Sessions Court ruled that she owed Midland Funding, a debt collector, $1,374.89 for her unpaid Credit One Bank account.
Sheri’s 2015 Bill: $25,821.83
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…
Not learning from her mistakes, in 2017, the IRS came knocking again. This time, for $42,792.14 from 2012 and $19,715.43 from 2013.
In Sheri’s unique ability to not do the right thing, the hits kept coming.
In 2017, two baseball coaches sued her for $6,000,000, accusing her of defamation, false light, outrageous conduct, and intentional interference with economic advantage.
She submitted a knowingly false letter to the school administration after she accused the coaches of physically and emotionally abusing players, including a photo of another player’s back without the parents’ knowledge, according to court documents.
Her allegations triggered a Knox County Sheriff’s Department investigation, during which she continued to make knowingly false and misleading statements.
But Sherry’s crusade against these coaches didn’t end there.
Spiteful Sherry went on to interfere with these coaches' livelihoods outside of the school. She attempted to break up professional relationships and contracts these coaches had outside of the school.
After nearly three years, she finally caught a break in 2020 when the case was dismissed after a failure to prosecute.
Sheri’s 2017 Bill: $62,507.57*
Plus a $6M lawsuit
One would think Sheri would have learned her lesson about paying bills on time, but unfortunately, that’s not the case with Sheri. Just over one year ago, Knox County extended their judgement on her credit card debt with Midland Funding by ten years for failure to pay on her part.
This is who the Knox County GOP wants for District 3.
They can clutch their pearls all they want about others in this race, but when it comes to responsible spending, there is only one choice for District 3.
And it’s not Sheri Super.
